Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten decades. She was a member and was captain for the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In 2012 her year, she received gold at the team events as well as the floor exercise. In the balance beam, Raisman was awarded a bronze. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to win the most medals during the Olympics. In the 2016, Olympics she won a gold medal for the team event, which brought her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being the first Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were awarded in the individual floor and all-around event. Following the 2nd Olympics she stopped for three years gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She wants to have a successful career in the field of fashion. Leotards that she has designed, socks and other items will be expanded to include other items in the future. Fierce, a new book she's currently working on will be released sometime in the coming year.
